Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

2013 Year End Review

What a great year 2013 has been.  This is the first year since Trey and I have been married that we didn't have a major life event!!  Trey say he would like to keep it that way, LOL!  Here is a little recap of what we were up to in 2013:

January: We rang in the New Year with friends at our house and visited Discovery Playhouse.

February: Enjoyed a low key month full of family time and lots of visits with Landen (Aunt Laura & Jeremy too)!!

March: Colton went to his first SEMO basketball game, had a fun visit with our family in Springfield, MO, finished Frankie's big boy room and celebrated Easter with our families.

April: I celebrated my 28th birthday and we had lots of low key park days with Papa.

May: Frankie turned 3, we went to several weddings and had a fun mini family vacation in St. Louis.

June:  The boys got a swing set, Trey and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary and we went to lots of birthday parties- sweet cousin Landen turned 1.

July:  The boys took " swimming lessons", we celebrated 4th of July at the lake house, Colton turned 1, we went to Homecomers with my parents and Frankie got to go to his first movie at the movie theater.

August:  Frankie was POTTY trained, had fun cousin time in St. Louis, enjoyed relaxing lake time and visited the waterpark for the first time.

September:  Colton got his 1st haircut, we enjoyed the SEMO District Fair parade and fair, had a fun St. Louis weekend, I "ran" my first 5K (The Color Run) and had a super fun date weekend in St. Louis with good friends (no kids).

October:  Went to several birthday parties, had a blast with family at Lambert's and Beggs Family farm, I enjoyed Pioneer Orchard with the boys, Trey turned 30, which was celebrated with a big party and we had an exciting Halloween which ended in running for shelter because of a storm.

November:  Did some Thanksgiving crafts, enjoyed a family date night and had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family.

December:  Had cousin time with Landen, went to the Parade of Lights, had a fun snow day at home, baked lots of sweets,  helped with "Feed My Starving Children" and "Toys for Tots" for the 1st time, made a gingerbread house and had a wonderful, crazy, busy Christmas celebration!  Also we met our goal of being debit free (minus truck & house)-WOOHOO!!

Just for Fun:

Highlight of the year:  I think I would have to say Christmas.  I really enjoyed all the family time and watching the kids have a blast!!

Christmas Day 2013- Part 4

Lastly we headed over to Mimi & Papa Gus house for the Boyer Christmas celebration.  It use to be crazy with just us adults now that you add 3 kids to the mix it just ridiculous, in a good way though!!  This year we finally talked Mimi into moving "Christmas" into the formal living room.  Man did that work out so much better, everyone had their own area and we weren't all sitting on top of each other.  The kids had a blast ripping open all the presents.

So many gifts!

Playing with a new toy while we waited for everyone to get in the room.

Sweet Landen opening up his gifts.

Yep ladies, he is all mine!! :)

Colton finally choose to open up a presents, to bad it wasn't his!

This two are going to be good buddies!

Dramatic much!

Please look at the pure joy on Colton's face!

Lisa and Katie did a great job on the table!
