About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

St. Patrick's Day Fun

Since St. Patrick's day fell on a Friday this year we decided to hit the town after work and school.  First we went to Wing's Etc to have dinner then went the bounce place in the mall to meet Skye & Chase and bounce of course!  It was a packed house, so after about an hour we talked them into leaving and getting a cookie. Then Frankie talked me into letting him and Colton jump on the center things in the mall.  Fun was had by all!  When we got home we watch Air Bud! :)

Friday Night, Movie Night!!

Jaxson Reid- 2 Years Old

Jaxson Reid Turns 2!!!

It's hard to believe that my sweet little baby is two years old.  Time is flying.  From day one Jaxson has always wanted to be treated like a big boy.  He wants to do everything that his brothers do.  He tries his best to keep up with them and for the most part they enjoy him playing with them.  Frankie & Colton pretty much think his is royalty and fight over him often.  They love Jaxson snuggles, which are pretty hard to come by because he doesn't like when they touch him or lay on him.  He is through and through a mama's boys though!  He is literally glued to my him when we are home or out and about.  He does do well with other if I am not there though.  Papa is a close second and Ningee is inching her way in too.  He loves school and thinks he is BIG stuff!  I'm pretty sure they let him run the show most days.  He enjoys eating; it's seriously his most favorite thing to do!!  His favorite foods include: gold fish, raisins, popcorn, ice cream, pears, mac & cheese, spaghetti, fruit snacks and really anything else.  he follows directions well and knows where most of his body parts are.  He loves to sing and sings along to most of the songs in the car.  He loves books, he likes being read to and looking at books on his own.  If you ever can't find him at home, he is probably sitting somewhere reading.  His current favorite book is "Don't Push the Button."  It gets tons of giggles out of him.  He is very much a little Frankie and if he doesn't want to do something he will refuse to do it.  Speaking of, he HATES to get his teeth brushed.  He will cry, scream and gag himself every time.............it's super fun everyday!  He is still not a fan of the word no, so he doesn't get told it very often.  He is a fun, loving, sweet, caring little boy.  You are wearing 2T shirts, 18 months pants & size 5 diapers.
You weigh 25.4 lbs and are 32 inches tall.

I am so grateful to have been chosen as his mommy!  Jaxson Reid, I love you so much!!!

Hot Diggity Dog Jaxson Reid is TWO!

This past Saturday our friends and families came out to celebrate Jaxson turning 2.  The kid loves Mickey Mouse so it was the perfect theme for his party.  Side bonus, Frankie's 2nd birthday party was also Mickey Mouse so I got to reuse most of that stuff. :)  I have been all about keeping it simple these days so I opted for hot dogs, chip & dip, cole slaw and fruit.  I made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for dessert!

Jaxson played before anyone got there and after everyone left. Ha!  He isn't big on having that many people at his house, especially if they are all looking at him.  During the party he pretty much just sat on my lap.  We have so much "stuff" that I put no gifts on the invite, but people still brought things. Ha!  He got a Mickey Mouse couch- which he LOVES, tons of adorable outfits, some Disney World gift cards and lots of his favorite snacks!  I am so happy that my family and friends get him, food is always the best way to get Jaxson Reid's heart! ;)

We appreciate everyone taking a little time out of their Saturday to celebrate Jaxson's birthday!!

Happy Birthday sign & Food labels: Paper & ribbon from Hobby Lobby.  Letters and circle cut at the local Cape library with their embossing machine. Created the food labels with a little help from Pinterest, got the paper and stickers from Hobby Lobby.
Decor & Goodie Boxes: Wal-mart & Dollar Tree had everything we needed. (I hit the jackpot at Dollar Tree because they had tons of Mickey Mouse birthday party stuff)
Serving Trays: Target
Food: Wal-mart

After the birthday party, Frankie and I had a mother/son event at his school.  It was a Lego Scavenger hunt and we had to go all around Jackson looking for clues then come back to the school and build a Lego car.  We rushed and went as fast as we could but didn't win.  But the important thing is that we had fun doing it!! :)

That evening we had dinner with the White's!  It was a fun evening getting to talk and catch up on life!  We also feel so disconnect through winter because we don't have as much time to hang out and talk!  Spring is almost here though!!  :)

Very last snuggle and book time with my 1 year old!!

I will happily make any silly face for a smile!
