Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Pioneer Orchard 2013

Last Sunday Trey thought we needed 1 more pumpkin so I decided to take the boys to Pioneer Orchard. First off its pretty close to our house and its free!! The boys had a blast!

We played in the sandbox, did the hay maze 3 times because they liked it so much. Frankie lead the way and got us out every time!! We checked out everything and the boys even got to ride the little train. Frankie loved it, Colton wasn't so sure! We even had our first porta potty experience. Frankie said he had to go potty so we start heading over, I open the door and Frankie says "whats this", I said its the bathroom. He goes in, I am standing in the doorway so Colton could stay outside. He looks down and says "it smells, gross there is poop" I told him just to hurry and go so we could get out of there. He said "I will just hold it" and he did for like 30 more minutes. Can't wait to go back next year!! I love making memories with my boys!! They are growing up so fast! Hopefully they still want to go and do stuff like this with me when they are older.

Lambert's & Beggs Family Farm

Last Sunday the boys were showing signs of feeling better so we took advantage and after church headed to Sikeston to eat the Lanbert's and go to Beggs Family Farm.  The weather was perfect, even a little on the warm side.  The boys weren't 100% but we still had a great time!!  Jeremy, Laura and Landen joined in on the fun too!!

Colton's clearly didn't want any pictures taken.

Loving the train ride!

First roll he caught!

After Lambert's we headed to the pumpkin patch.  It's close to noon and I so glad we got there when we did because there was already a line to get in.  They were both in a kind of grumpy mood and possibly even ready for a nap but we made the best of it and they did pretty well.

Best out of 5, I will take it!!

2 one year olds and a 3 year old..this is as good as it gets.

We met other friends there too!

Yep that's the one I want....

brainstorming on how to carry it...

ok I will just go for it.........

Yep this one is just my size!!!

All that heavy lifting deserved a slushy!!

These faces say it all about that horrible slide.

Colton and Landen loved the checkers.

Frankie wasn't so sure about the bouncy thing..

Colton loved it!!

About 3 minutes after we left.
It was a great Sunday with family and friends!!  So much fun, we will see you next year Beggs Family Farm!!

Saturday...

Saturday was one of those day that I was itching to get out of the house. I had been home most of the week because the boys were sick. Jeremy, Laura and Landen were on there way down Saturday morning to hang out with us for the weekend. We planned on going to Beggs Family Farm but the forecast had other plans for us. Mid morning Colton pukes everywhere so clearly he isn't better yet. So the rain actually worked in our favor because Colton was not feeling up to really doing anything but sitting in the couch and napping. We hung out at home all morning and afternoon. Then about 3 I took Frankie to a birthday party at Le Bounce.

Jacob and Aubrey's birthday at Le Bounce!

Frankie really only played for about 30 minutes and then he was ready to leave. We left and headed home to get everybody ready to go to Jacob and Aubrey's house for dinner, presents and cake!!

The evening was super foggy but kind of cool to see. Also I think Colton finally started feeling a little better and even played some! He loved giving sweet Landen hugs! We sang happy birthday and Jacob loved it, Aubrey wasn't so sure but she did love eating her cupcake!

After the kids were in bed we started up the fire pit and enjoyed our adult time together!

Turned out to be a great day even though it didn't happen how we had planned!
