Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Family Photos

In May my good friend Lisa Parsons of Lisa Parsons Photography was doing a "mini photo" session in Cape.  We needed new family pictures bad, our last family photo was when Colton was 9 months old.  She also got some really cute shots of the boys so I am using those as their 4 year & 2 year old photos!! :)  I love them all!!

Happy Birthday to Colton!!

On Wednesday Colton turned the big 2!!  He is super cute and holds up both of his index fingers when he tells you how old he is!!  The birthday monsters paid him a visit while we were sleeping on Tuesday night and boy was he surprised when he woke up (but it looks like I failed to get any pictures of that)!!

Bday breakfast!
After school and music class all the Cape Girardeau family headed to Gordonville Grill with us.  I think that it was all of our first times eating there, it was really good.
After dinner we headed to our house for cupcakes and presents.

Spotted his new ball right when we got home.

Brotherly love!

Happy birthday to you Colton!!

Silly boy.

Yep we had to sing it about 5 times!!  We couldn't just light the candle again, we had to sing the entire song every time!

Clapping for himself and asking to do it again.

Frankie had to get in on the action too!

Thank you to all who helped make Colton's birthday so special!!  We are blessed!  I still can't get over the fact that Colton is 2!!!

4th of July- 2014

We spent the weekend at the Boyer's lakehouse for the 4th!!  We had a blast!  I was a little concerned because the boys really didn't like fireworks this year and at the lake there is someone always shooting them off.  Once they realized that they couldn't even see them, they seemed ok with it.  We spent most of the day on the boat or by the water!  The weather was PERFECT!!

Woot the pool got upgraded!!  Thanks Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Laura!

The water was FREEZING!!

We went thur 20 of these juice boxes

Trey caught a fish!

Look at those guns!

Best of 5!  ;)

Getting prepared for a few fireworks.  Colton wasn't going to have it!

He got brave!

Lol, he would throw a snap thing down and then rush to cover his ears.

What a big boy!

Mimi & Papa Gus stayed back with the sleeping kids so the big kids could watch the fireworks on the lake.  Poor Frankie woke up but fell back asleep on the couch on top of Henry.

Helping Mimi cook breakfast on Saturday.

Morning boat ride with the Sis.

Evening sand play!  The sandbox was the best idea they had!  The boys love it!!

These two!

Auntie Katie was shooting off fireworks.
We had the best weekend but I was exhasuted!!  After we got home we went to my parents house so I could take a nap! :)  Papa took them to the park and they had so much fun but were so sweaty when they came home!
Look how big these boys look, where did my babies go??
