Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Boyer Vacation-Orlando & Chattanooga/Days 8 & 9: Ruby Falls

Day 8:
We woke up had breakfast and headed to the pool for our last swim in Orlando, then we loaded up the truck and drove the 8.5 hours to Chattanooga.  Honestly we have never drove that long with the kids awake before.  We usually drive at night but knew that wasn't really going to be an option on the way back. They did pretty well considering how long the drive was! We picked Chattanooga because Jermey and Laura wanted to stop and see Ruby Falls on the way home.

They were all over the place!

Day 9:
We spent the night in a horrible hotel with a horrible free breakfast but we surivived!!  Lol!  After breakfast we drove up the mountain a little bit to Ruby Falls.  I have to say I really had no interest in going but I like to try new things.  It turned out to be a fun little stop on our way home.

If I remember corretly, this is a fault line.

Most of the walk space was narrow and low.

Here is Ruby Falls.

Yep I am that mom, we all had our Cards shirts on! :)

This was the best out of 15 pictures.

Yep there was no way I was opening my eyes in the sun.

Beautiful view.

It was a perfect way to finally end vacation!!  We all had a blast and made lots of fun memories!!

We made it home safe and sound and have slowly returned to our normal routines!!

Boyer Vacation- Orlando/Days 6 &7: Aquatica & Busch Gardens

Day 6:
I have zero pictures from Aquatica or day 6 in general.  We were all warn down.  The boys didn't even want to stay at the water park for more than an hour and they barely got in the water.  We came home and had lunch then Colton took close to a 4 hour nap.  We laid low that day and caught up on some much needed relaxation time. :)

Day 7:
We woke up early and drove to Tampa, FL to go to Busch Gardens.  It was a super hot day but we made the best of it and had some fun!  Frankie loved all of the kid roller coasters and rides.  We rode the train and saw some cool animals too.  After mid afternoon we were ready to call it a day.  We got home, got cleaned up and started packing (because we were leaving the next day) then we headed out to dinner.  On every Boyer vacation we always seem to end up at Red Lobster.  I think there is just something about eating at a place you know and honestly we have never been disappointed.

Stomping in water puddles while waiting for the big kids to ride a ride!

Frankie was so brave, he didn't even cry!

He rode this BIG roller coaster twice!

This guy scared Colton nearly to death!

We watched these guys dancing!

Waiting for the train.

On the train.

I can't even tell you how hard it is to get a decent family pic!  It was hot and the train stopped a lot and we just wanted to be to our car!! LOL!

After our Red Lobster dinner, we tried to get a few good pictures since it was our last night all together.
Not to bad!

Partners in crime...........

:)

We tried........

Seriously, we did!!
It was a great way to "end" a wonderful family vacation!!!  I love thinking about how much fun we are going to keep having as these boys get older!!

Boyer Vacation- Orlando/Day 5: Discovery Cove

Wow oh wow, Discovery Cove is awesome!!  It's hard to believe that something so tropical and pretty is right in the middle of a huge city!!  They provide you with food, drinks, sunscreen and all the equipment you need!
These vest have to be worn in the water at all times.  I thought the boys looked pretty cute!! :)

Ready to play!

Looking at the water!

Going under water for Mimi & Papa Gus

Getting ready to head out on the lazy river!  Although I was pulling Frankie and it was a lot of work! Haha!

Like Trey's new sunglasses??  Happy Father's Day babe!

Our go to silly faces...

I was a little scared but this was so cool!  How often does a bird land on you??

This bird was sun bathing upside down!! LOL!

This is what you get when you ask Frankie to smile for the picture.

You can swim with the sting rays, I opted to stand on the bridge and look at them.

Waiting for daddy....

There he is!!

Here is the snorkeling area from the back side.

Katie and Seth in the freezing water.
My stud!!
After we got back to the condo and cleaned up we headed to Downtown Disney!

We ate at T-Rex!  It was delish!!

Looking for dinosaur bones while we waited for our name to get called.
Love these guys to the moon and back!

It's amazing that this was made out of Legos!!

We we all so tired so we didn't last long at Downtown Disney, but we had lots of fun!!  Another great day of vacation is in the books!!  Discovery cove is something you don't want to miss next time you go to Orlando!!
