Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Friends, Shopping, Wedding & Outside Fun

This past weekend was one for the books.  We had SO much fun!!  Trey and I got to have a little get away in St. Louis.  Kid free time with hubby and friends was just what the doctor ordered.  Friday after work we hit the road.....

We first met up with Ryan, John and Amber.  It was so fun catching up with those crazy kids! And we stayed up way too late just like old times.

Saturday Trey and I headed down town and met my college bestie (Amy) for lunch at our favorite restaurant, Chava's!!  I had a blast catching up with her and hope to get to see her again soon.

Then we checked out IKEA.  I LOVE that store, I am already making plans to go back.

Saturday evening we headed to Chesterfield for the Qalbani wedding.  Side note: we kind of felt like we were going to prom being all dressed up.  Lol!  So we got to the wedding at 5, expecting it to start at 5:30 like the invite stated...little did we know that it probably wouldn't start till closer to 7 but there was wine and appetizers so I can't complain too much!! ;)  People finally started showing up a little after 6.  The wedding was absolutely beautiful and you can tell there is genuine love between them.  It was such a neat evening and the food was amazing!!

All the family and guest (who wanted to) danced around in a circle to the drum music then...

The bride and groom danced in the middle of the circle.

After the wedding we drove home so Trey could do some homework and to get some rest since he had to work on Sunday.

I got up Sunday morning and headed to my parents house to see the boys.  I missed them so much and couldn't wait to see them.  It was a beautiful day so we hit up their fav park....
Brother love...

Is it just me or is a baby in shorts the cutest thing ever!?!

Hiding from Papa

After lunch snack

After we left Ningee & Papa's we continued to play outside till dinner was ready.
Frankie learned to swing all by himself.  I am so proud of him....now if he could just teach Colton.

Remember this nest, it started with 3 eggs and over the weeks she has laid more eggs.  The boys can't wait for the babies to hatch.

Fat feet in the sand....we were just testing the waters for our beach trip this summer.

Turns out he LOVES the sand!!  #bringonthebeach
What an amazing fun weekend we had.  We got to hangout as adults with lots of friends, do a little kid free shopping, attend an amazing wedding for good friends and enjoyed literally an entire day outside with the boys!!!  Bring on this weekend, we are ready to party!!

Monster Truck Show/Weekend Recap

This past Saturday Jeremy, Laura and the kiddos came down so we could go to the Monster Truck Show at the Show Me Center.  None of us have ever been so we really weren't sure what to expect.  I was kind of picturing dirt and ramps and all kinds of stuff....we walked in and there were a few cars in the center of the floor.  Talk about your "hometown" Monster Truck show. Lol!  None the less we all had a blast.  Frankie and Colton can't wait to go back.  Also a funny, about 10 minute into the show Colton looks at me and says "mom, where are all the basketball player?"  He sure does love sports! :)

Cousin love!

Family selfies are the best!

Frankie's "mom, no more pictures face."

Sweet things! :)

Colton loved every second of it.

So did Frankie!

Cotton candy got the best of him.  It was EVERYWHERE!

Thanks Mimi for the cool race flags...

Tracking down the snow cone man!

One of my fav pictures of the day!

Thanks Ningee & Papa for watching the babies!  (Emaline was fine until she saw mama)

Have you ever wondered what 5 kids, 5 & under looked like in a small bathtub??

Mister is getting too big way too fast!

Sunday after church the boy all played together for a while, we had lunch and then the cousins had to leave. :(  The boys continued to play and made lots of messes! ;)

Finally we were able to burn some energy outside........

Sweetest face in America

Still no babies...

So I run up to the garage for 2 seconds and come back down to Frankie spinning him around in his swing.  Let's just say this didn't end so well for mister Jaxson.
What a fun weekend we had making memories as a family.  My boys are getting so big, so fast.  I want to cherish every second I get to spend with them!!
