I can't believe that I will writing a 2 year post very soon. This just seems so crazy to me, I am going to have a 2 year old!! You are becoming quite the big boy now. You like to walk everywhere which has made going anyway a much longer process, but I guess that is part of getting older and becoming more independent. Walks around the block literally take all evening. :) If you don't want to walk you usually want me to carry you, which with my growing belly has been a bit difficult but I always seem to make it work. You have started climbing more on things and seem to be more willing to try new obstacles. You still would like us to help you up when you fall and you want us to be right next to you most of the time when you are playing. Since your brother is well on his way we are trying to let you do more on your own and figure things out. There has been some fussing in the process but most of the time you figure it out all by your self and then say "I DID IT"!! You love motor cycles, everyday we look for them on the way to work/daycare. If you see one you will say Papa's cycle and then as it passes us you say by Papa, I love you.
Funny Things You Do: Not a day goes by that you don't crack me up. You really like to dance in the car. Almost any song can get you moving, it's almost like you start you dancing off with a belly roll that then makes your whole move with the beat. You love for us to chase you, you will just scream and laugh while you are running away. You have had an obsession with blowing your nose but you really blow through your mouth with the tissue up to your nose. It's pretty cute but sure wastes a lot of tissues.
New Words/Sounds: I don't even know where to begin on this. You are really talking up a storm. New Animal Sounds: snake, turkey, rooster, frog
New Words: I did it, what's this, hand dirty, again (one of your favorite words), I do it, I hold you, mess, jump, shoot, I want to go outside, dont' like and all finished. You will also repeat anything and everything you say. You has also really started jabbering and if we don't know what you are saying or asking form we just smile and say OK and you keep on talking.
Eating Habits: You are still a pretty good eater but you seem to be getting pickier these days. You will even eat half of something on your plate and then say "don't like" and spit it out. For the most part you have a pretty hardy appetite. You still like all the same things you have in the past but you have now added Oreo's to the list. You call these cookies and you are not happy if we offer you a different type of cookie in it's place. We sometimes have to tell you they are all gone because you will continue to ask for more.
Sleeping Habits: There is really no change here. You nap anywhere from 2 1/2 -3 hours in the afternoon. You sleep amazingly for the most part!! We put you to bed around 8:45 and I usually get you out of bed around 7am. Sometimes you are awake already and sometimes I have to wake you up. On a few weekend days you don't get up until 7:30. Our night time routine starts with a bath with Mommy around 8:25 pm and then bed time story with Daddy. We now have a video monitor and I love to watch you sleep. You move around quite a bid but it really doesn't seem to affect your sleep at all.
Clothing Size: Still 18 months but you also have some 24 month and some 2 T shirts that fit. I think that a huge growth spurt is coming though. You are still in a size 4 diaper (they are a little big but the size 3 are a little small).
You are the most amazing little boy a mommy and daddy could ask for. You are so much fun and can light up a room with your smile. We are so happy that we have you in our lives. You also give the best hugs in the entire world!!! We love you so much!! I still can't believe that I will be writing a 2 year post, where has all the time gone.
