Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Discovery Playhouse- 5/26/2012

He really enjoyed these.  They made noise when  you would step on them.

Happy Boy!!

Loves to slide..............

This is so much fun.

We spent a lot of time at the train table too.

Just getting a little practice in for his soon to be baby brother.

Being very sweet to the baby.

Driving the big fire truck.

Brushing the horses teeth.

He really wasn't to excited to be sitting in the chair for his turn. Haha!

Not to sure about sitting on this huge cow..........................

but sure did love to move the fruits & veggies around and push the carts.

He loved all of the water table activities.............

We had a great family day on Saturday.  After Discover Playhouse we went to El Tapito with Grammy then over to Mimi & Papa's to take a nap and swim.  I think we are going to have a little fish on our hands this summer.  He didn't want to get out his baby pool for anything.  We then has dinner at Mimi & Papa's followed by a little more swimming and then headed home for ice cream, a walk around the block and playtime in his sandbox!!!

100th Post & the Basement is Finished!!!

Here is right when you walk down the steps.  There are still a few more things to do over here, like put pictures in the frames but I am working on that. Haha

This is the "playroom" portion of the basement.

Outside toys are stored here right now.  It will at some point be the book/reading area.  Through that door is Trey's shop/man room and storage and also how you get to the heater and things like that.  I spared you the pictures because his room is a mess.  That is the only room that has had nothing done to it and has not been picked up at all.  Hopefully that will come soon.  My storage area is neat and clean though, even have all of the boxes labeled!!

The living room area.  Yes it is also full of toys.  We also haven't decorated this room at all.  That will come once we pay off the basement, haha.  One thing at a time here.  Oh and of course a new TV.

What little boy can't have a slide and a BBQ grill.  Yes the slide has been in our upstairs living room since Christmas (thank you Mimi & Papa).  I was very happy to send that downstairs.

Here is the closet off of the living room.  It's crazy how fast this little baby fulled up with blankets, games, dvds etc.

The bathroom, which is the only fully decorated room in the basement.

Here is the bedroom/office.  There is also a huge walk in closet but it's pretty messy so I didn't take a picture.  It will house all of Trey's hunting stuff and the workout stuff.

It took a lot of hard work and my dad and Trey did an amazing job!!  We are so grateful that my dad is so handy!!  Trey is pretty good to!!  Glad to have it finished and be able to use all the extra space which will be much needed when Colton comes.

It's hard to believe that this is my 100th post and how fitting: 2 great accomplishments.  I am so happy that I started to blog.  I love being able to look back and see all the fun things that we have done!

Sprinkle for Baby Colton

Thank you Trisha and Ashley for the cute diaper wreath!!!

The food!!

The ice cream bar.  I decided that since it was a "sprinkle" that I didn't want cake and wanted ice cream with all kinds of sprinkles.  It turned out great and everyone seemed to really like it!!  Plus we got to keep all the leftover ice cream and sprinkles, can I get an AMEN!!

Mickey Mouse wreath

He started opening presents right away.

Cool new shades and a Mickey Mouse chair.

Opening presents is fun!!!

Frankie, Anna & Wyatt eating lunch.......Warren was still cooking on the grill.

Turns out he was scared of the candles this time (Monday he was fine, Saturday not so much).  Daddy held him and I blow out the candles after the everyone stopped singing.

Then he could eat his cake!!!  He honestly didn't even eat it I don't think.  He ate the 2 Oreo ears and then went back to playing.

Hi there!!!!

Then as people started to leave, we blew him up some balloons to play with.  He was having so much fun with them.  He would toss them up in the air and then say "where'd it go"!!

He had a great turn out at his birthday party!!  I can't believe that he is 2!!  Thank you to all of the amazing family and friends that came out.  A lot of people traveled from Springfield, MO & St. Louis, MO just for Frankie's birthday party.  Oh and we can't forget about the amazing gifts!!!  Thank you so much, we love all of you!!  Hope to see you real soon!
