About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

My dear sweet friends through a "sprinkle" for Jaxson this past weekend.  Due to the winter weather we had a very small group but it was so much fun!!!  He is already so spoiled and loved.

Snow Day Fun

Monday was President's Day so the boys and I were already off work & school.  Even though the snow was called for, I  had my doubt but when we woke up on Monday the ground was snow covered and beautiful!!!  So happy they were right on this one, the boys have been asking for snow for months!

We got up Monday morning and played in the snow for a little bit!  Yes we were playing in the snow by 7:30am  and inside by 8am!! :)

Toddlers in snow gear. :)

Snow Day selfie!

Sophie LOVES the snow so much!!

Snow shoveling gear.
After playing in the snow we came inside and played with every toy in the house, did lots of puzzles, colored a lot, did stickers, watched TV, ate a snack every 5 mins and I even managed to squeeze in a little nap while the boys made toy bombs in each room of the house! ;)

"Mom this guy has a fat belly just like you"- you're lucky you are cute kid!!

Later that afternoon we ventured back out to play with our friends across the street (Jack & Levi)!

Yep that got dumped on me!!  Thanks Jack!  LOL!

Just some snow mowing!

After about 25 mins outside Colton requested to come in.  Knowing that Frankie and I would be ready shortly after, I let him go in.  This is how we found him............sound asleep!!

Our deck table say we got about 9 inches.
Before bed we made snow ice cream.  It was pretty tasty but we voted and still like "real" ice cream better!!

Here is what happens when you let Colton do the sprinkles by himself.

Successful, fun snow day at home with my boys!!  So thankful I didn' t have to worry about getting to work and driving in that mess!!
