Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Valentine's Day 2014

Why not spoil your kids on the day of LOVE.  Lol!  I love buying things for the kids, I kind of have a problem, actually.  My children need nothing at all but I can't help myself sometimes.  The hubby doesn't celebrate Valentines day so it's usually all about the kids.

Waiting for them to get up!

Perfection, right??

We couldn't forget daddy!
That afternoon the boys got their hair cut and then we attended a visitation for my SIL grandfather that passed away.  Very sad circumstance but we got to keep sweet Landen that evening.  He wasn't so sure of the boys because they play pretty rough.  He had tons of fun playing with the kitchen though.

Perfect Valentine's Day!!!

Library Fun!

A few weekends ago we went to Born Learning at the Cape library. It a fun story time and we did a craft this time. Daddy and Ningee got to come with us too. All pictures are curtsey of Ningee.

Valentine craft: Colton didn't want paint on his hands so he just ran around and played.

Playtime after Born Learning:

After the library we went to lunch at Beef's then headed to Ningee and Papa's to take a nap. Good Saturday!!

Here is how we used Frankie's artwork:

Valentine's Day Photo Shoot & Cupcakes

Superbowl Sunday was a very relaxing day of not doing much.  I had been looking at Pinterest and saw all these cute Valentine's pictures, I wanted to try my luck.  I re-purposed the bunting that I used for Colton's 1 year photo shoot.  I need to work on my skills so more and I need my boys to work with me a little.  LOL!  I seriously don't know how photographers do it.

Picture #1 is always the best!

Attempting to get something cute.

Sweet boys.

Yep buddy that is what I feel like to.

So blessed with a relaxing day!

Snow Fun

So it snowed on Super Bowl Sunday and Frankie never mentioned anything about playing in the snow, but when I was putting him to bed he said "mommy we didn't even go sledding today". Honestly that kind of broke my heart. Sometimes being a "working" mom sucks. I want to be able to go and do and take my kids to all the fun play groups but it just can't happen at this point in our lives. Anyway I am getting off track. While I was getting ready for work I got a text from my boss that said take your time getting in today and be safe. Man was that a prayer answered, it wasn't a full snow day but it did let us not rush around and we got to play outside for a few minutes before I had to go to work. Those 15 minutes of snow fun were awesome! The boys had fun and then it was back to reality!!

Snow suits and toddlers are seriously so adorable!!

Now bring on Spring, PLEASE!!

Super Bowl Party

We love having people over and it's honestly easier to be home with the ages of the boys. We were pretty lazy all day to prep for our fun night.

The boys wanted their pictures taken in the mirror and then we had to watch the puppy bowl before the game!

Then it was time to party!! OMG we had tons of food and lots and lots of fun!!

These kid were running and screaming from the time they got here till the time they left! Everyone was gone around 8, we put the kids to bed and finished watching the Seahawks kick the Broncos butts! Fun was had by all!! Oh and the half time show was awesome!! Little Colton danced the whole time!
