Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Boyer Baby #2

You guessed it, we are going to be parents of a 2 year old and a newborn. One may ask your self WHY????
I will say Frankie has been the biggest joy in our lives, WHY NOT!!
We are very excited for this new addition coming this summer.
Boyer Baby #2 is due July 16th, 2012
"Guess who has a secret?"
"I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER"
(So I know these pictures of the shirt aren't the best, but you would never beleive how hard it is to get a active 18 month old to stand still. We even had my mom trying to help)
Ok so this was really at 4 Weeks
7 Weeks
(I hate that I am facing a different direction in this picture but a mental note has been taken)
8 Weeks
Just like with Frankie I plan on taking a weekly picture even though I missed a few weeks in the beginning and I am also completing "The Belly Book" which I also did with Frankie.
Ultrasound pictures will be added soon, so stayed tuned!!

Chirstmas Party

Frankie and I were invited to a Christmas party for mom's and their kids. It was a blast!!! My friend Ashley was hosting it but ended up being sick, so Kristal stepped up and hosted at her house. Ashley did an amazing job on the preparation and we were so sad to hear that she was still sick. Kristal did an amazing job hosting. What a great group of friends we have.
The Happy Birthday Jesus cake and all kinds of yummy snacks.
We made ginger bread houses........................
Frankie really got in to it and I think his turned out awesome!!
(Thank you Whitney for bringing your camera, I forgot mine so the above 3 pictures I stole from her blog)
We also made hand print Christmas tree. Here was Frankie's. These tiny hands just melt my heart!!
Here is he ginger bread master piece!!! He did all of the windows and the roof by himself. I helped on the rest!! :)

Annual Curtis Chirstmas Dinner

I stole this picture from Emily's blog, she always take the group shot (Thanks Emily)! Here's the gang. Our families have been getting together for a long time and each family just keeps getting bigger and bigger. At some point I think we might need to rent some kind of hall or something. Haha! The Curtis's do a great job hosting Curtis Christmas dinner every year. With all the babies this year the theme was Happy Birthday Jesus. There will be even more babies next year so we might just have to continue with that theme. Who knows what Mrs. Lisa will come up with.
This is the kids table (minus Trey, he wasn't there yet bc Frankie was napping at home).
Here is a different view.
Brynn is getting so big!

(Me & Frankie; Whitney & Brynn; Emily & Wyatt)
We always try to take this group shot. Last year Emily and I had 7 month olds and Whitney was prego with Brynn. This year Emily and I have 18 month olds, I am 9 weeks prego, Emily is 25 weeks prego and Brynn is 9 months old.
Poor Wyatt fell alseep right after dinner for his only nap of the day and then they had to wake him up for the picture and then church. Poor guy was so tired but I think mom enjoyed the extra snuggle time.
Curtis Chirstmas Dinner was a sucess again in 2011!!! Can't wait to see next years picture with all the new babies!!

Chistmas Card Photo Shoot

I think that I used 3 of these pictures on our Christmas card this year. :)

Ok so I kept seeing this idea on Pinterest, I thought that I would give it a try. It's didn't turn out just like I wanted it to but I still like it. It also really made me want to figure out how to use my awesome camera that I got last year for Christmas. (I only know how to use it on auto still).
Touching all the pretties on Mimi's tree.
Having a good time while he is doing it though.
So happy. These were all after the photo shoot of course..........
Playing with the workout ball. One of his fav things at Mimi's!
A few more fun Christmas post coming soon!! (ie: Curtis Christmas Dinner, Frankie's Christmas Party and maybe a few more :)

Randoms & St. Nick's Day

Ok this all happened while Trey was putting lights on the house and I was decorating. I let him do it because he was being "good" and I was able to get the tree done. Lucky for me, this is the only time he has done this, so far!!
Yep putting sissy's food in your water bowl. Didn't you know that all dogs like there food soaked in their water for a while before eating it.
He did the entire bowl.
Sissy got a bath, mr helper has to have daddy dry her off and brush her hair.
He was saying CHEESE!!!
Opening his gifts from St. Nick................
He got a Mo Mouse book and so Christmas stickers...........
Readying his Mo Mouse book.

Thanksgiving 2011

We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!!! Frankie and I stopped first at Aunt Annie and Uncle Dave's house for a Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving. Trey had to work Thanksgiving so he had to sleep most of the day but that didn't stop us. I had some morning sickness so mom and dad helps a lot with Frankie and getting everything ready to take to the Boyer Thanksgiving at Joe and Lisa's. I am sad that I didn't get any pictures at Aunt Annie's though. Maybe next year I will be better since I won't be sick, but probably not since I will have 2 little ones with me!! :)
He is table #1 at the Boyer's
and table #2 & #3
Ok so Frankie wasn't so happy but it's the only decent picture I got of his shirt. It says "Mommy's Little Turkey"
Playing with 2nd cousin Jake
The two momma's to be!!
I am due July 16 and Laura (sister in law) is due June 23rd. TWO babies in one summer!!

The only family photo of the day. Poor Trey not only had to work later that night but he was also sick.
All in all we had a great Thanksgiving day with lots of family and friends. Laura and Jeremy also got to suprise Joe, Lisa & Katie with the baby bump news!! We suprised Katie with the news but Joe and Lisa already knew about us. :) Lisa and Katie cried and I think Joe didn't know what to think.
Side story on how we told: Everybody went around the table and said what they are thankful for. We went right before Jermey and Laura but didn't tell our news because we wanted them to be first. Jeremey was last and he said that he was thankful that his wife was finally pregnant. Right then Lisa lost it and got us and started saying that she was getting two babies everybody is going what two baby so I just said we are pregnant too. Then everybody was so excited for the entire family!! :)
