Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Ft. Walton Beach Days 5,6 & 7

WARNING......PICTURE OVERLOAD
Day 5: Thursday 6/7/12
Harbor Walk, Pool Day & Ft. Walton Pier

He was yelling "my eyes, my eyes" which means the sun was in his eyes.

Here was his preferred fix.

This poor very nice boat was sinking. :(

Once we got back from the Harbor Walk it was pool time!
Here is the view from the start of the lazy river.

Splashing Daddy!

Loved swimming with his Daddy!

Having a blast!!

Jumping in!

Snack time!

Once lunch time hit we headed in to eat and then take a nap.  After nap we had dinner in the condo with everyone and then...............

We headed to Baskin Robin's.  Frankie loved it.

What a big boy with such a little spoon.  That must have been an intense process, look at that face!

Look that these bird on the pier.  They let you get really close to them.  Yes I do have the zoom on right now but I was still pretty close to them.

Frankie was not having it.  I think the storm was moving in and it was a little chilly.

Daddy and Frankie watching a fish flop around.

The view walking back from the pier.

Day 6: Friday 6/7/12
Boys Fishing Day, Mommy & Frankie Lazy Day
It was over cast and rainy all day.  But Frankie and I did enjoy a little shopping with the girls before lunch and nap time.

Darryl, Joe, Trey & Jaylen with all their fish.

Trey in front of all the fish.

Trey and all of his fish!! (Way to go Babe!!!)

We had planned on leaving Friday after dinner but the boys didn't get back until after 4 and Trey would have been way to tired to drive through the night.  Instead we went out to dinner and got ice cream as our little family of  3!

We needed to get at least one family beach picture before we left.  Here we are in Destin waiting for our table at Pompano Joe's.

Always a little stud!!!

Frankie is just to cute!

After dinner we went to Bass Pro Shop.  Frankie was scared of the shark and didnt' want anything to do with being by it.

Looking at the fish.  After Bass Pro we went to Cold Stone Creamery and got ice cream.  It was so yummy!  Sorry no pictures, there was a train that Daddy and Frankie had to go check out instead of finishing their ice cream.

Day 7: Saturday 6/9/12
Last Beach Day & Our 5 Year Anniversary

This ticks me off that the picture uploaded like this but oh well, it's still cute with those little feet!!

The storm was moving in.  Look at those waves and the sky.

Again, not sure why this is turned this way but a cute family feet photo.

Our 5 Year Anniversary Picture!

Frankie saying bye to the ocean.

Soon after we left the beach the rain started and didn't stop.  We hung out at the condo for a while when to lunch with the family and then headed back packed our stuff, then Frankie and Trey took a nap and we hit the road when they got up and drove all night.  We made it back safe and sound to Jackson around 5:15 Sunday morning.  I was so sleepy I couldn't even stay awake.  Lucky for me my mom and dad saved the day and kept little Frankie while I slept, then unpacked, did laundry & got groceries.

We had a blast and great weather with exception of the last 2 days.  We can't wait to plan the next trip!!  Frankie is still talking about the ocean and the beach.  Every night his bath tube turns into the ocean for all of his toys.  Thank goodness he has finally stopped asking to go to the beach because he really didn't understand when I would say maybe next summer.  Haha!!
