Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Ft. Walton Beach Days 1 & 2

We were blessed enough to be able to go on vacation with Trey's family this past week.  We had such a great time and got to spend a lot of family quality time of just a family of THREE, although the fourth one was pretty present in every pictures. Haha!  I was really worried about the drive down there but Frankie did an amazing job! We left at 8:30 pm so it was his bed time.  He stayed up and watched a few movies but then said "turn it off" "night, night mommy".  I didn't do to bad myself but did have to stop quit a bit to use the bathroom, go figure.

Day 1: Sunday 6/3/12
We got in Ft. Walton around 7:45 in the morning but couldn't check into our condo until 4pm that afternoon.  Luckily we knew several people down there who were willing to let up crash at there place for a while.  When we first got there we hung out with the Legrand's it was so fun and Jacy loved playing with Frankie.  After that we meet up with Dustin & Bryanna.  We went to their beach and played for a while.  Frankie loved the ocean, it was pretty clam and we just stayed in there and played and swam for a while.  He kept seeing a boat out there and wanted to get in one.  Lucky for us there was one sitting on the beach when we got out so Bryanna and I took him over there to play for a while.

Sitting in the boat!

Playing in the sand.  He loved it!

After the beach we went to lunch at Fudpuker's.  It was super yummy and they have alligators and a play area for kids.  Frankie really enjoyed it but you could tell he was getting tired.

Here are the alligators that they were looking at.  After lunch Frankie fell asleep on the way back to their room and Trey was super tired from staying up all night to drive us to FL.  They went back to Dustin & Bryanna's room and took a nap and I went shopping with them, although I probably should have taken a nap myself.  After they woke up it was time for us to go to our room.  By the time we got all settled it was after 7 and we had not even had dinner yet.  We decided to just run up to the store to get something.  We settled on hot dogs, grapes and milk.  I don't even think Trey and I ate anything.  We put Frankie to bed and then crashed ourselves.

Day 2: Monday 6/4/12
Beach and Pool:Lazy Day
The rest of the Boyer's we driving down so it was just us most of the day.

We started off at the beach around 8:30.  He really wasn't into the water this time, the waves were much bigger this day and I just don't think he was into it.

After looking at the water for a little bit we played in the sand.

Building stuff with Daddy.

My cool little man.

Then we headed to the pool.  This is the area that you can get into the lazy river.  It starts off really shallow and then gets deeper as you walk in more.

He loved it.  He just kept walking back and forth.

Having a blast!!

Snack time.  They had these little picnic table out by the pool and he insisted that we sit there for his snack.

When we all got hungry we headed to Bubba Gump Shrimp for a bit to eat.  It was really yummy and a fun experience.

Mister had to have a stuffed turtle.........

Once we finished lunch we head back to the room for Frankie's nap.  I think that Trey also took a nap.  Haha!

After nap he lined up all his animal...............

and sang them Happy Birthday.  Yes we are still sing that song a month after his birthday, what of it.  Pretty soon after he got up, Mimi, Papa, Aunt Katie & Kelsey all got there.

We went to dinner at a restaurant called Angler's that was right across the street from our hotel.  The food wasn't very good at all.  Oh well Frankie had a blast going from person to person and playing all the race car games.

More to come..........................................................
