Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

NYE & 2014 Year End Review

 NYE:
It's kind of funny how you life changes when you have little ones at home.  My Time Hop app showed me that I haven't gone out and done anything on NYE since 2010, the past 3 years have been spent cleaning the house and putting away Christmas decor!  I have to say that I am absolutely fine with that!  I would much rather be home with my babies than fighting the crowds at restaurants or being around drunk people, plus I like going to bed "on time" even on a non work days!  Yep, I am turning into an old lady right before your eyes!  Haha!  Today was much like any other day for us.  I worked all day, did some grocery shopping, picked up the kids and cooked dinner.  After dinner we played a few games and put the kids to bed!  All in all it's been the perfect evening and I will probably go to bed shortly after this post! ;)

They hate pants.  The second we walk through the door their pants come off.

2014 Year End Review:

Year after year it seems like it would be harder for us to have a better year than before but each year that seems to be the case!  We are so blessed with amazing family and friends.  Plus we seem to always be having fun and making new memories!!!

January: Seemed to be filled with sick boys and cold days.  We didn't do much which was nice!

February: We hosted some friend for a fun Superbowl party and got to play in the snow several times!

March: We had more snow day fun, attend a fun birthday party for Brynn and played at Discovery Playhouse.

April: I turned 29 and joined the Catholic church and we attended lots of fun Easter celebrations.
May: Frankie turned 4, we had fun at the lakehouse and Frankie & Colton started pre-school at Eagle Ridge Christian School.

June: The boys had a fun Spiderman birthday party, we went on a fun Florida vacation with the Boyer's and celebrated Landen's second birthday at the lakehouse!

July: We celebrated 4th of July at the lakehouse, Colton turned 2, we found out that baby Boyer #3 was on the way, Frankie started Pre-K and Colton started 2 year old Preschool.

August: Frankie played Smart Start Soccer which he seemed to enjoy and Trey got accepted into a Specialized Blood Banking School.  Other than that it was pretty low key since the morning sickness had started.

September:  Trey started school (mainly online), we visited the SEMO District fair, the Altenburg fair and had a fun trip to St. Louis enjoying the outdoors.

October:  We were super busy!!  We visited the apple orchard, 3 pumpkin patches, attend book fair week at school, school Halloween parties, Trey turned 31, pumpkin carving and did some trick or treating!

November: We found out that sweet baby Boyer #3 was a BOY and had a blast celebrating Thanksgiving with family.

December:  What a crazy time, we had so much fun with all our friend and family and did tons of Christmas activities!!  We also found out that Jeremy and Laura are pregnant due in August! :)

I am only image what is in store for us for 2015!  All I have to say is bring it on! We are so blessed by everything that God has given us!

Just for Fun:

Highlight of the year: I would have to saying finding out that a 3rd sweet baby was on the way!
