Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Springfield Trip

This past weekend we (Ningee, me and the boys) headed to Springfield, MO for my cousin Simone's graduation.  We had been talking about our road trip all week and the boys were super excited that we got to stay in a hotel!! We left early Friday morning and I have to say that by Bloomfield we had already stopped twice- once for bad behavior (Frankie) and once for food (me).  Needless to say I was ready to head back home and send the boys to school! ;)  Against better judgement we kept on trucking and the rest of our time was pretty pleasant and we had a ton of fun!!

WARNING: Picture overload will happen on this post.

After we got settled in the hotel and dressed for graduation we headed over to Austin and Debbie's to meet up with the rest of the family to head to Simone's graduation.  I took my camera to the ceremony however a grumpy 2 yr old (no nap & we ran out of candy) and a active 4 yr old kept me very busy so I didn't get any pictures.   After graduation we headed back to Austin and Debbie's to celebrate!

Love my beautiful cousins!!

Saturday before leaving Springfield we headed to the military cemetery to visit our dear Meme.  We all miss her dearly and try to make it to see her anytime we are in the area.
Waiting for everyone to get ready to leave

Handsome boy

We tried, really we did.

Taken way to soon. We love you so much Meme!!

After the cemetery we headed to the Ft. Lenard Wood Fire Station to visit Travis at work and of course play on all the trucks!!  These pictures need no captions!!  We had a blast!!  The boys climbed and sat on everything and ran like crazy people!

Checking out Uncle Sam's motorcycle

After the fire station we headed to a late lunch at a Mexican restaurant in Waynesville.  We even got to meet up with one of my mom's friends Carla.  It was so great to see her and caught up plus the boys we EXCELLENT.  They did amazing at the restaurant!

These 3 boys played hard once we got home.  I honestly have no clue where all the energy came from!

Sweet boys playing so well together!
The boys love Jeremiah so much and loved spending so much time with him this weekend.  We had a blast visiting with family and just hanging out.  On our way home on Sunday we stopped at our fav Pasta house and meet up with Jeremy, Laura and Landen for lunch.  It didn't disappoint and was delish!!!
They were hoping and praying candy would come out! :)

After we got home and laundry started the boys and I headed outside to enjoy the 60 degree weather in December! :)

Buddy had a welcome home sign on our garage door when we got home.

Finished up our evening with a Christmas tree pizza
I am overwhelmed with the love in our family!  It is truly a blessing to get to spend time with them and make special memories!  Can't wait for more road trip and special visits!
