Doctor-Zoo Trip

September 21st we headed back up to STL to meet with Dr. Connolly for Jaxson.  He was in a decent mood so that worked in our favor. ;)  She said that with a CK level at 28,000 and a brother with DMD that he for sure has it!  Which means that I am most likely a carrier.  I will get tested at some point to confirm but right now we just are focusing on the boys.  Our appointment was at 8am so we drove up the night before and stayed in a hotel (thank you Lisa)!  We got to the appointment just in the nick of time- I totally forgot how morning traffic was in STL.  Anyhow it was a short an sweet appointment.  After Jaxson's appointment, Frankie had a heart echo to get a baseline and we picked up his night boots.  We were done by lunch time so we stopped at Applebee's next to Barnes then went to the zoo!

First night with night boots.  He did great with them and only cried just a little bit and it really wasn't even because they hurt it was because he was mad that he had to wear them and Colton didn't.  We just explained that God made everyone different and he had to wear them to help his muscles.

Frankie's 6 month appointment fell on Valentine's Day this year and I didn't want him to miss his school party so I moved it to March a while back.  It worked out perfectly because now Frankie & Jaxson's appointments can be on the same day!  Here to making doctor day a family day!  I love my crew to the moon and back!!
