Our Family

About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Messy Morning

Every year businesses around the area set up a station for kids to play and get "messy" at the Show Me Center.  Thousands of people go to this (I think they said over 3000 people came this year).  We went 2 years ago and Frankie seemed to have fun, we skipped last year so I was really excited to take the boys this year.  We picked up Ningee and headed to messy morning around 10:30am there was a huge line, so we went to El Sol to eat lunch and waited for the crowd to die down.  We had lunch and headed back, I don't think Colton was feeling the best but thought we would try it for a little bit.  We got there around 11:45 and there were still tons of people there.  We walked around a little but the boys had no interest in touching or playing with anything.  I honestly think there were to many people there for them and they didn't want to get messy.  They did enjoy dancing to the music and loved the fire truck outside.  We spent more time with the fire truck than we did inside.

A little LeapPad2/iPhone time before we left

Looking at the big turtle, don't worry they refused to touch it.

Dancing....

Busting a major move!

Firetruck....

He thought he was big stuff on the back of that firetruck.

This guy loves his papi & baby so much!

The firetruck definitely saved the day!  I don't think we will be going back next year, there are way to many people for me.
