About Erin

I was born and rasied in Cape Girardeau. After college I got married and we moved to St. Louis a year later. Soon after we bought a house and had a baby. Our lastest adventure was deciding to bring our family back to Cape! It's great being so close to both sets of grandparents and family!

Big Papa Sam's Visit

Over the weekend my grandpa came down from Springfield to meet Colton and play with Frankie!! We had a pretty laid back weekend and just played with the boys and ate yummy food! I was bad and didn't take any pictures but do have a few from my mom's phone. He drove home today but will be back in a few weeks for Colton's baptism! :)

Of course Colton won't smile when he sees the camera but he loved meeting his Big Papa Sam!

Frankie didn't want his picture taken but Mom was able to sneak this one.

We are so blessed to have such an involved grandpa and great grandpa. He is way to good to us and we love every minute we get to spend with him!!

Just for fun here is Papa meeting Frankie for the first time! :) These memories are priceless to me! I know that Meme is looking down on us and loving ever minute!

Two Little Monsters

Halloween 2012 marks Colton's very first Halloween and Frankie's 3rd Halloween!!  It's so fun look back to Frankie's first Halloween and see how everything changes year to year, crazy next year we will have a 3 year old and a 1 year old to go trick or treating with!! Frankie was more into this year than he was last year.  He even said trick or treat at a few house!

 Colton's FIRST Halloween!
(3 Months old)

He tried so hard to pick it up, but just couldn't handle it!  Colton is looking at him like really bro it's not going to happen! :)

 My mini man!!

My 2 little monsters and a scary shark!!  Poor Sophie she hated it.

So every year my mom goes trick or treating with us and my dad stay at our house and hands out candy!!  (They are to good to us)  Anyway Frankie must have thought something was funny!

Colton had woken up by the time we got home so we put his outfit on quickly and snapped a few pictures.  Frankie was ready for his outfit to be off.

We had fun.  I think we all had a little sugar high.  We can back with more candy than we gave out so we have plenty of candy.  Haha!!  I think next year I will buy 1 small bag and call it done.

Daddy's Birthday & Pumpkin Carving

Monday what Trey's 29th birthday!!  Only one more year till the big 30!!  Last Friday was Joe's (Papa Gus's) birthday so we had a birthday dinner at our house on Monday.  We finished off the evening with pumpkin pie and of course singing happy birthday and blowing out the candles!!  Happy birthday Daddy and Papa Gus!!!

Tuesday we finally carved our pumpkins and Frankie painted his! :) (side note, yes Trey is wearing the same shirt, haha)
 Digging the gusts out!!

This is what Frankie thought of that experience!  Haha!

Getting ready to paint his pumpkin!

All things are possible when you work with your tongue out.

 Love the little hands!

 MASTERPIECE!!!

You will have to check out my Halloween post to see the final pumpkins carved!

Mommy & Her Boys Time

Last weekend Trey had to work and my parents and his parents were out of town.  I didn't have to share time with anybody.  Although Colton didn't sleep well all weekend so I was one tired momma and a little on the grumpy side.  Haha!  We all managed and had fun too!

You can't tell me these aren't the most handsome little boys you have ever seen!!

 Big smiles!!

Painting a Birthday card for daddy!

 Working on his cheese face!

So I was doing something else in the kitchen, when he asked me something.  I just said go ahead, I guess not hearing what he asked me.

He was having so much fun I couldn't tell him to stop.  Here is his "Frankie Masterpiece".  Good thing this was washable finger paint! :)

We tried rice cereal again with Colton.  He took it pretty good, but his belly didn't like it to much.
No night is complete without a bath!!

We also went to Pioneer Orchard on Saturday after nap to find a "baby" pumpkin but they were pretty much sold out.  I did find a "toddler" size pumpkin on their welcome display and asked if we could by that one.  Haha!  Frankie was also brave enough this time to touch the huge bunny they have there.  We made a fall painting of a finger print tree.  It turned out really cute but I guess I didn't take a picture of it.  All in all great weekend, even without the sleep and being grumpy. :)

Aubrey Turns 1!!

Our good friends little girl turned on Sunday, they had a big BBQ to celebrate!!  It was so fun, Trey even got to come a long.  Usually he is sleeping because he has to work but he was off on Sunday and got to join in.

 Here is the birthday girl!!

During the party I busted Frankie reading books in Jacob's room.

 How cute is this kid!!!

Happy birthday miss A!!  We are so happy that we got to celebrate you turning ONE!

Rombach's Pumpkin Patch

Before we came home from St. Louis on Sunday we visited a pumpkin patch in Chesterfield.  This is the pumpkin patch that Jeremy and Trey when to when they were kids.  This is also the pumpkin patch that we took Frankie to for his first time.  So special!!  Haha, ok enough with that!  The weather was perfect, it was sunny and warm!

Look how big these things were....

Out of about 15 of the "same" pictures this is the best we got.  Haha!

 Laura, Landen & Jeremy

 Me and the boys.

He kept yelling....."it's not working, it's not working"
We got so close to a pony ride.  Mimi paid the $5 and I put him on the pony and he freaked out.  Needless to say the man gave us back our $5.

We had such a great time with Mimi, Aunt Katie, Aunt Laura, Uncle Jeremy and baby Landen!!  Can't wait till next year when Colton and Landen are walking around.  I think I am going to regret saying that we will need all hands on deck!
